Corporate Sponsor Presentation: Kathryn S. Bayless, Sage, presented a brief review of TimeSheet Professional. A table of information was available at the back of the room for discussion and additional information. A general overview publication was provided for each member.

Membership, Vice President - Amy Piper

  • Amy announced that her goal of 125 members has been exceeded. As of April the MI Capital Area Chapter of PMI has 132 official members.

Professional Development

  • The PMP review class presented by PM Solutions was well attended and successful.
  • Judy Walsh announced that the May 16-19th PM Schedule & Cost Control class was in need of a couple additional participants in order for the class to be held. She asked if individuals were interested in taking the class to contact Civil Service.

Election of Officers

Mark Lawrence updated the group on the election process. The election will occur at the next program meeting on May 16, 2000.

Voting will take place at the meeting (voting prior to the meeting is not an option).

We are still looking for volunteers for the open positions. Competition is probably not something you need to worry about.
